Re: Western medicine vs. Holistic medicine pratice

I can say from my own experience that a combination of the two, if possible, would be ideal. Taking diflucan and nystatin makes me feel sooooo much better, but of course it doesn't last. And trying to find a doc to give you enough that one could kill off the bad guys, fix the gut lining and repopulate the gut with good guys, would be impossible. Because we know here how long all this would take. No small task indeed. The candida situation is so multifaceted that it cannot be done quickly or easily. Now I am neither anti-allopathic or natural medicine. I've been burned by allopathic DOCTORS and false-hope-giving natural products. On both counts of natural and allopathic meds I say if it works and makes you feel better without harming you, then go for it! But also tread lightly, balance is important. I could say more, but ugh! Gotta go.
