Western medicine vs. Holistic medicine pratice

Im a CNA and go to school in a LVN program and soon will be getting my license (YAY) as well as go for my RN in the following yr.

Anyway, yesterday we saw a video about the difference between western medicine and holistic medicine. I believe in both methods and actually more on the holistic side.
If I had the time to research more on holistic medicine I would. The doctors of holistic medicine witnessed great improvement on using both medicines from cancer to alzheimer patients.

What do you believe in most and what has worked for your candida thus far?
