Just saw one, North of Tampa Fl

Well, I always though this was nonsense, but we saw a 'something' hovering over the gulf of Mexico last night around midnight. It was a bright object with flashing white/red light, that stayed stationary for about 45 minutes, then left.

It pulsed, it was 4 times the size of any surrounding star, did not move whatsoever, then it was just gone. We thought is was a police helicopter with lights, but it didn't move for a long time, impossible for a helicopter.

No sound, no movement, just a wierd thing that wasn't where anything should have been.
