Me too! Been there, done that

When I cannot remember why I bought a particular supplement or herb, I have to go back to my research and usually end up asking myself what I was thinking! Money down the drain? Most likely.

I do use spices and herbs daily, such as garlic, ginger, cayenne and oregano oil... Echinacea when necessary, but the supplements have been going out the door.

I "supplement" with Chlorella, Spirulina, Maca, and wheat grass, which are foods in my book...

I believe supplements CAN be of benefit as a stopgap, or to correct a problem, BUT our bodies must be able to assimilate that supplement... if it is a synthetic, and most vitamins are, especially the cheap ones, the body will most likely treat it as a toxin, if it is isolated from a whole food source, the body must NEED it to use it AND have the necessary faculties to metabolize it as it is no longer complexed in the whole food to be easily recognized and used.
