Get very sick a week before my period.....mirena user!!

Well I have used mirena for almost 3 yrs. I guess it started about 4 months ago I would get sick a week before my period. I would get nauseous (but never vomited), light headed, body aches, it kind of felt like a lighter version of the flu. I really didnt think to much of it until the fourth month I got really sick and couldnt keep anything down it felt like I was pregnant again. So I finally went to my gyn and explained my condition and she really didnt know what it was that was wrong. She said My body is either rejecting the IUD or that my body is allergically reacting to my progestrone. I dont know so I was just wondering if anyone else had gone through any of the same symptoms.
