Re: Did anyboy ever give up on herbs and go for the animal dewormer instead?
thanks...I was scared for her, but she's okay.
scattering, if it happens is a consequence of
parasite treatment gone bad. it's where the larvae become more active, they aren't killed by the treatment, and start invading the circulatory system, traveling whereever in the body. so the treatment that was supposed to be killing
parasites and decreasing the population has now increased it.
I think it's not a common occurance though...it's hard finding all the information on this, I'm still not too clear on amount of risk there may be...but, factors that increase the likehood of it happening are heavy infection, general ill health, and immune capabilities. seems there's more risk of it happening with drugs, especially if the wrong drugs are taken. a certain amount of scattering can happen with improper use of herbs too.
but...I think it's still better to take the populations down rather than leave them be and not disturb them. and I think it can be done safely, it's just what is the best approach....generally, what I would do if I was doing this all over from the start...I'd do much more thorough bowel cleansing first, then liver flushes. and
healthy Diet of course...if bowel and liver are cleansed well first, the chances of herbal
parasite cleansing going bad are very small.
hope I've helped some...more than scared you...hehe...it can be tricky this stuff, but can be done. I think, at least with natural treatment, the risks of serious adverse reaction are usually much less as well.
