I see Dr. Michael Cantwell at the Institute for Health and Healing at California Pacific Medical Center - he is wonderful! He has had many cases of candida and has had good luck with them. I, unfortunately, have been one of the few "tough cases" he has had (tho finally have a reason why - genetic liver defect). Actually, at the IHH you will find also very good candida-friendly nutritionists and there is a store right there where you can get most of the (sometimes quite specialized) supps he prescribes. Call 600-3503. Also, I know they will take Blue Cross PPO, but you have to pay first then get reimbursed. I don't think they take other insurances, but sometimes you can get discounts and they will set up payment plan.
