Re: Lung Cancer --Thank you so much!

I am sorry to hear that they are offering such a bad prognosis. Tell your husband that I know that they are not always right and that he should not give up.

I was not able to answer before as I have been out of town but I want to say that I have been through the same situation with my wife. They had given her 2 - 4 weeks but with proper care, she lived almost four months, improving, and lived well during that period. She refused that chemo and radiation which made her doctor unhappy (I think even angry). I feel that she would have lived a good bit longer if her doctor had not given her a pain killer that she was allergic to. My wife was walking and reasonably well only three days before she passed.

I have also had skin cancer which admittedly is not as life threatening but I have had success applying the things mentioned below.

#1 I will tell you that the most important thing is to avoid sugars and artificial Sugar substitutes. A small amount of blackstrap molasses is ok but not much as the iron in it helps cancer. Maple (real not artificial) syrup is OK in small amounts. Stevia is OK. Starches such as potatos can be converted to sugars by the body. If your body does not get enough sugars, it will turn on the cancer and destroy it.

#2 What ever time he has left is best spent enjoying life, not worrying about the cancer. Get out, get fresh air, sunshine, and exercise. These things all help the body to want to continue living and fight the cancer. Eliminate all stress, even the stress of cancer as much as possible. Do the Bucket List if he wants to. The adventure alone oftens changes the path of things to come.

#3 Boost the immune system. Good nutrition in the form of juiced fresh raw vegetable and fruits is the most effective thing that you can do but keep away from high Sugar content. The best veges and fruits are asparagus, broccoli, kale, tomato, garlic, onion, peppers, berries, strong red colored items, dark green leafy vegetables, yellow and orange vegetables. Limit the sweet ones such as beets and carrots.

#4 Fasting, not eating for 12 to 16 hours each day causes the body to attack the cancer. When I did this, I coud visibly see my tumors shrink over the period of a day, and more shrinkage each day. After only five days of fasting, the size of the cancer was about 25 percent of when I started the fasting. Cancer does not do well in a lean hungry body.

#5 the best supplements that I have found are Cinnamon (500 mg 2 or 3 times a day about 30 minutes before eating) helps regulate Sugar metabolism, Curcumin (I recommend Super Bio-Curcumin from the Life Extension Foundation) directly attacks cancers and inhibits growth. Essiac Tea helps alkalyze the body and restore normal pH. Selenium is important.

#6 Cleansing, starting with a plain old Epsom Salts laxative flush will work wonders. This will clean a lot of toxins and gunk out of the intestines. It is important to note that the intestines are an important part of the imune system and if these are not working correctly, what can you expect.

To help reduce any swelling in the brain due to cancer, take USANA Proflavinol.

There is much more that I can write, but I need to get up early in the morning.

My best to you and your husband.

David
