Inlay, onlay...I might have used the wrong term. I had asked my dentist about that and he said they can not put onlays on the side of cavities (mine is from the bottom up). I don't fully understand but that was his answer.
He put temporary fillings in (with clove oil inside) that looks like white putty. (Unfortunately it doesn't blend in).
OP Suggestion: I have done a little oil pulling (can only do 1 TSP of oil) and can barely pull for 5 minutes. (I have a fear of swallowing it accidentally.) I do it a little bit at a time.
WOULD OP LOOSEN TEMP FILLINGS? I'm willing to try anything but don't want to make matters worse.
I have also put castor oil on my gums, hoping that will help heal any potential infections.
