Just to be clear, I was merely shining some light on the factual matter at hand while also expressing a sense of humour for the situation. As far as this goes, if called for I can be an easy going person not inclined to begrudge somebody whatever fudge factor they desire. At the same time it's worth pointing out the historical basis of how fudge factor has so routinely come to be used / exploited as the seed for politicians getting their foot in a door. At first the door that may well deserve to remain closed against enemies is laid open perhaps only a tiny crack, but this eventually becomes an inch, and then a foot and before long the door is wide open and eventually there is no door at all but merely remnants of such along the way to becoming a gaping leaking sieve. The thing is, it matters not what you, nor I nor any other average person thinks, feels or believes in this instance. Neither you, nor me nor any average person has any effective power to influence what is right in this matter. It is for this reason that I am happy to oblige whomever may be inclined to click a little green yay or nay thingy. If it were not for these little thingies that increasingly litter our lives, we would be totally powerless. At least the availability of a virutal vote thingy on a web forum allows some people to entertain the notion that they still have some power, influence or say over some matter, any matter in this world no matter how trivial and inconsequential they are. To repeat, I am happy to oblige and be of service for those so minded. The establishment will do whatever they want in the matter of birth status no matter how it actually squares with established rules, laws or spirit of same. It goes without saying but I'll say it nonetheless. If this kind of birth occured today under the same basic circumstance EXCEPT it happened for average people, the USG would demand to have microscopes and other strange technological intrusion devices inserted up all rectums involved in order to investigate to their satisfaction, with finger prints, SS#s, saliva and other bio samples and qualifications before determining who is and who does not meet their standard of born citizen. I honestly do not know where this rule has evolved to over many years and cycles of successive relegislating efforts. I do know that as of 230 years ago, it was fairly well written onto paper in plain english by people who at the same time firmly advised against the practice of perpetually maintaining standing armies for the purposes of exploitation therein while also advising against the hazards and lures of foreign entanglements. As such it is notable that the birth status in question occured under circumstances involving participants of a standing army who were at that moment contributing to foreign entanglements.
