I hate zoos - kinda O/T

I can understand the need for restriction because the animal doesn't live in a natural environment of (well, for a tiger, hunt and run to kill its prey)

but I hate zoos for the most part because people are so cruel, and don't think, and throw any kind of food in - like white bread for geese. Talk about shortening the lifespan. I can't imagine losing my freedom and then being watched like that. Hmmm, what am I saying?

Well, anyways, I remember when we went to the St Louis zoo, (I think it was).... This beautiful big proud male gorilla, oh, he HATED being there. Sat there with his back against the wall to us staring at him...then he'd run away and rush back at us and pound at us, trying to make us go away.

I literally bawled for the poor guy. I felt so bad for him, and then prayed for him.
