If we could abolish all organized religion then there would be world peace

I think if we could abolish all organized religion then there would be world peace. Hundreds of Millions of people have been murdered since the beginning of time because "my God is better than your God therefore you must die" All so called Holy books are in fact just men's interpretations of God. Why do so many people think that the Bible, Koran, or the Talmud are the instruction manual of the universe when these books are so flawed? What category do you fall in to if you believe in a God of Creation but do not believe in the Bible, Koran, Or the Talmud? I don't think God has or ever will come down from Heaven and write a book! Why do people go to church, mosque, or temple to have someone decipher these so called Holy Book Holy words? All interpretation is really just one man's opinion.
