Hi Doc,
I read here about what you said about signing on the dotted line and signifying by your signature (under penalty of perjury) that means that you are working for the federal government.
I was just thinking about the rebates in the US for people who are drawing SS and don't file an income tax. Would filing for a rebate signify that you are, again, working for the federal government by participating in a tax rebate when you have no earned income for the year? Pretty sneaky if it does mean that. Taxing SS is what they are trying to tell a person.
