Hi All,
I've been reading all of these posts with some interest as I've had a problem with gut related halitosis as well and find it frustrating that the medical profession know nothing about it. Im a scientist and a medical student and have been trying for some time to make sense of it all.
After extenxive research i found an article on "mutaflor", a probiotic strain of E.coli that is safe, proven to be effective in the treatment of IBS and constipation and also effective in a case study of a young girl with halitosis. There is one problem. Its only available in Germany but can be bought through international pharmacies. If anyone is interested in trying it and manage to find it id be very interested to know the results so that i can get the word out to the medical profession.
