Re: RARE experiment, by MH
For a simple question, there are a lot of responses, but no real answer. All I am asking is this:
How much iodine is in walnuts?
If they know how much iodine is in sea vegetation, kelp and such, then why can't they test to see how much is really in walnuts? They know that the Japanese consume high amounts compared to people in the USA, I believe the number 13.8 milligrams has been floated around as an average Japanese consumption. Why can't we find out how much is in our Black Walnut tree? I am not suggesting, or saying there is none. I am wondering why people have been saying for decades that there is iodine in walnuts when as far as I know there has never been any definitive test done to show how much "if any", iodine the American Black Walnut contains.
