Re: what is it about Ekhart Tolle...(edited)

Sofia, I still disagree. I do not see that pain is necessary. I was not speaking of no pain, no gain theory. I do not see that I must 'suffer' to become Whole. I feel and believe that through being connected to and with my Source and Self, pain is optional.

As for the 'dark night of the Soul' Carolyn Myss speaks much of this. I still do not think it is inevitable to find your way back to Yourself. I do not disagree that is necessary for some though. It is what One expects to become more Whole that works, IMO.

I also, see and feel that the 'dark night of the Soul' can be experienced in many different ways to affect the person going through it. I think much of my discomfort and discontent of life is my experience of it. I see and feel that when I sit with Myself, I can know what it is that I must know to move forward in life. I do not believe that it HAS to be pain to see the light at the other side.

As I mentioned, in the first post, this is not something I will change my belief on. When I listened to Carolyn Myss speak of the 'dark night of the Soul' I had tightness in my belly. It did not "sound" correct to me. When others speak of me having to suffer and give back, to receive, it does not "sound" correct to me. This ceremony I went to over 2 weeks ago, that is about the only issue I have with it. I disagree that I must 'suffer' or feel 'pain' to receive the gifts of Life.

Peace,
Beth
