Premenopause help!
Hello,
I'm looking for advice or knowledge from anyone out there who has maybe experienced or is in the same boat as myself and going through this phase of their life.
I have been experiencing different problems over the past 12 months which is related to premenapause. My hair had been getting dry and falling out, my skin always dry as well, have very little sex drive, depression, mood swings such as tears or feeling very angry, a sense of "oh no I've left it all too late", low motivation, body changes and the list goes on. I'm only in the early stages (half way there) so I am really worried about the rest of the things to come. Relaxation and anxiety have alway's been a problem as my children have all had severe difficulties and my partner has Aspergers. I kind of feel that I've forgotten about myself for all of these years and now have no career or life so am feeling quite resentful (mind you I'd never change my family for anything.....it has just been quite difficult)
I have been into natural health for a long period of time and at present am being treated by the naturopath for a thryoid deficiency, vit b deficiency, iron deficiency, magnesium def and take tyrosine,EPO and fish oil. My moods are still all over the place and as I suffer from chronic fatigue this is still being treated. I drink soy milk, haven't eaten wheat,
Sugar or yeast for a long time but eat quite healthily.
Are there any herbs which can also help to ease any of the prob's that i've mentioned or for the lack of sex drive?
