You talk about over-rated...whew...lol! I haven't talked about this topic in a while, but it's absolutely one of my favorites. I'll take a street-saavy, state-school educated sales phenom ANY DAY, ANY TIME over Wharton, Princeton, Brown or any other Ivy Leaguer you apparently worship. You guys are real-world embarassments most of the time but with the added resume-enhancer that your (fecal matter) smells like blueberry cobbler. I actually put the "prestigeous" schoolers to the bottom of my resume stack, true statement. My wife cringes as well, she interviews them first, then hands them over to me for the second phase. For every GS guy making $300K/yr on Wall Street there are 34 others that my best performers from Univ. of Illinois/Champagne-Urbana or Cal-State/Fullerton or U of Texas/Austin would put to shame!
