Re: Autistic son update

This list comes from a handout written by the Homeopathy Center of Houston (http://www.homeopathyhoutson.com) for a Defeat Autism Now conference. My son had many of these behaviors, all of which responded to parasite treatment:

Fecal smearing
Rectal digging
Anal itching
Aggression
Unexplained bizarre and intermittent behaviors
Teeth grinding
Biting fingernails
Chewing on hands and fingers
Mouthing articles
Pica
Playing with saliva
Difficulty sleeping
Obsessive and/or compulsive behaviors
Hand flapping
All behaviors worsening around the full moon
Urinating outside the toilet
Eliminating stool only after great straining
Unresponsive diarrhea

I should add that I believe that many cases of self-injurious behavior are related to parasites as well. When you read posts on the parasite forum describing how some parasites feel under the skin, it makes sense that these poor children who have no voice and no way to ask for help might be driven a bit crazy by the irritation.
