Re: Government has conceded that a vaccine "contributed" to Autism

That part "encephalopathy with features of autism spectrum disorder" was the first diagnose my son got at 16 months old. Later he got a definite autism diagnose. The thing is my brother got the shot and my mom remembers him regressing after the shot so I decided not to get the shot for my son. He NEVER got it! I think there is more to it than just the mercury in the vaccines. I think its a variety of things and maybe the shots add to the problem already there. Its more than JUST the shots. Lawsuits do not help anyone but the lawyer getting rich off it. Parents need to decide NOT to do the shots. There is a choice. I still wouldn't do them if I could redo.

Also, there are actually support groups out there for parents who have children with autism but didn't get the shots. I was refereed to a group like that but never joined. I am currently taking my son to therapy and looking at diet changes.
