I know that part of FARC's strong motivation is that they are strongly against U.S. influence in Columbian government, and that they are against the privatization of resources, and with 250 or so American businesses in Columbia and signed agreements for sharing of assets and chemical control... well...
sounds familiar with other goings ons the U.S. seems to have their fingers in.
I do not agree with FARC's fund raising methods...
I guess I can see both sides of this issue as with others and FARC, most likely did not like the direction their government and country was moving in and broke.
What is happening there is a lesson in foreign government (government/military/industrial complex) interventionist policy.
