There are only two exceptions to compulsory vaccinations; religious objections or a letter from a physicaian stating that the child would be medically harmed . The religious objection mut be sincere . You can't say I'm a Catholic so I don't want junior vaccinated if the Catholic religion does'nt oppose vaccination.
As far as the claim that officials will give you an exemption because they are afraid of lawsuits,this is unlikely because even if such a suit were successful , the money does'nt come out of their pockets so they don't care.
