Yet to really get into it. [Note added about abreviations.]

I apologize for being so slow.

Those two library books sat on my table for weeks.

I did look into them, and saw a bit of the 'how to' in both. One, as far as I saw, did have lists of foods, but I didn't get much of the actual plans.

[Do you do that, too...skip the 'scientific explanations' and look for the 'meat and potatoes' basic plan?]

I had hoped to compare the recommendations, book to book, to see how they differ.

My main problem, I have decided, is lack of sleep. I am tired so often, because I get up to pee every hour, hour and a half, two hours...all night long...every night...until I can no longer get back to sleep.

Today I read in the 'Urinary Tract' forum, about UTI's...Urinary Tract Infections.

[I think the forum should be re-named, 'Urinary Infections' to draw attention to it.]

Anyway, the word 'infections' caught my eye this morning, and I posted this in the Urinary Frequency forum...

INFECTIONS = FREQUENCY ?

"Last night, one of the worst nights of my life for getting up to the bathroom, and NOT sleeping, I came here and, by chance, clicked on what CureZone has labeled the 'Urinary Tract' forum.

It should be called the URINARY INFECTION forum, so that we who suffer can twig to this possibility.

Plus, dear Roooth, points out the simple thing that cured her...at least, it gave her control over Urinary Tract infections.

Begin here...

[Note; UTI = Urinary Tract Infections, and, ACV = Apple Cider Vinegar, likely raw, as in Bragg's.]

I think I missed this idea because I've been suffering for nearly seven decades, and I didn't recognize the symptoms...I'm too used to them.

See what you think.

Tonight I have been wading through some posts on 'gout', and saw where an article suggested 20 fresh or canned cherries per day will relieve inflamation. (Possibly red plums, and red berries, too?) Some might think those without added sugar/sweeteners would be best.

I also haven't forgotten that some are now suggesting tilting the head of ones bed upward 4 to 8 inches, in order to assist the urinary system to empty more solids (?) during the night. (If you try this, you need to support all bed legs on an even slope...otherwise there is too much strain on the frame. Instead, I am thinking to lift the head of the mattress, evenly. Don't know how my sleeping partner would feel about this!)

Some seem to be saying that sleeping at such an angle helps with urinary frequency.

This whole question of infection/inflamation sounds important, doesn't it?

And, among the few foods that Roooth mentions, there are suprises.

I'm considering tooth problems, and parasite problems, as well as candida over-growth, too. As far as I can tell, candida over-growth causes 'thrush', an irritation in the folds of the body.

And there is the whole question of the skin being THE major detox organ of the body, and Himalayan crystal salt baths/footbaths not only removing toxins, but supplying life and health-giving minerals.

All when I am chronically tired.

It is truly a 'puzzlement', as Yul Brynner put it in 'The King and I'.

That business of the 'right' foods being as close as my grocery store made me sit up and take notice, I must tell you.

Still, I'll be back at this again tomorrow...just as soon as I get a few ZZZ's.

'Nighty, nite.

F.
