Re: Housebound for the past 4 months
HI- I have been in your same place. It is very debilitating! I have a history of mild eczema for my whole life. It gets worse under stress and when I had my worst outbreak (five years ago) i went gluten free. I also went dairy/yeast free for about two months to let my body heal. My eczema cleared up all on its own with lots of exercise and dandelion and pau d'arco tea. About a year later I was hit with another outbreak that totally left me bed ridden. I even went to the ER because I could feel pain in my bones. I have had all the diagnosis too from scabies to poison oak. Finally I did some
parasite purging. I found an interested MD who checked my adrenals and I had severe adrenal exhaustion. My DHEA was dangerously low. I took that with a prescribed anti-fungal and a lot of omega 3's and minerals and it cleared up for me. It came back with stress. I have changed my life a lot to avoid stress, but some of us are prone to it I think). I do have to use a cream that is anti-microbial/hydro cortisone (www.eczemamiricle.com ask for medicated version). It allows me to go on with life.
I have found the gluten free diet to be helpful, although i can not handle the processed foods at all even if they are gluten free. I take digestive enzymes when I feel itchy and lots of vitamin c with quercitin. I am sensitive to chemicals and fragrance. I am about to start a regimen of 2 grams of omega 3s, dhea, folic acid/b12 and vit. C. After on this for a while, I will do a
Liver Flush and finally a
Colon Cleanse and then hit is hard with probiotics. I want to see a doctor before the
Liver Flush as i have always had elevated liver enzymes in my bloodwork. I guess that indicates that you are full of gall stones.
Have you had your adrenals checked before? if not you might find it helpful to read about adrenal exhaustion. Also candida. Hope this helps.
