Re: Actually it is parasitic & douching with...
I think the first step in dealing with BV is knowing what it is you are dealing with,
parasite or bacteria.
In doing a quick search, it has been noted that some women with BV get the fishy odor and some do not. Also I noted that in laboratory testing parasitic BV is indicative by a fishy odor.
Antibiotics work against bacteria-not so sure if they work against parasites...the fact that the woman posting here has had no luck with using
Antibiotics to treat this condition is indicative.
MMS douching am and probiotic suppositories pm.
She should also be taking probiotics internally to counter the disruption of flora from taking several courses of
Antibiotics .
If it were me, I would get a hold of a cheap microscope, take a scraping from my vagina and see for myself what I am dealing with.
There is no way in hell I would live with that problem for 15 yrs! Sometimes you need to get more creative in your approach and explore new ways to deal with it.
I agree with you that there is a problem of flora imbalance, but the buggie, be it bacteria or parasite, must go first!
Get rid of the buggie (treat BOTH partners) then replenish the flora.
