Dr. Whiting is correct in his statement, but what he is talking about has nothing to do with Miracle-Mineral-Supplement .

If you produce chlorine dioxide gas and saturate it in a water solution and let it sit, it will give off chlorine gas and oxygen gas and the chlorine dioxide breaks up. If you were drinking a solution of dissolved chlorine dioxide gas, his concerns should be heeded.

However, with Miracle-Mineral-Supplement we are making a solution of chlorous acid. Chlorous acid (HClO2) is a weak, unstable, acid that gives off chlorine dioxide. When chlorine dioxide reacts, it first picks up an electron and forms a chlorite ion, then the chlorite ion is oxidized and it then forms a chloride ion. Chloride is salt. As you can see, there is no chlorine involved.

It seems that Dr. Whiting has not figured out that stabilized oxygen products have no oxygen in them, also they have no chlorine dioxide gas in them, and that their “healing” properties come from activating the sodium chlorite, which forms the chlorous acid, which gives off chlorine dioxide as it breaks down. Dr. Whiting seems to be focused on getting additional oxygen into your body. His favorite product is hydrogen peroxide.

Jim Humble, in his book, commented on this. He mentioned that for years and years, people have missed on how stabilized oxygen actually works. It appears that Dr Whiting is one of those that have not been able to figure this out. You should send him an email inviting him to explore how chlorous acid works.
