He's not taking flaxseed oil per se- he's taking flaxseed oil combined with cottage cheese. This is an old home remedy; the flaxseed oil is supposed to be extra-assimilable when combined with the cottage cheese (they augment each other). The combo is supposed to be anti-cancer and also helps the hair and hair growth.
