Sure you can do it in the daytime but its better if it is done on an empty stomach. Regularity would be greatly instrumental in curing ilnessess. If doing kapalbhati pranayama (very beneficial for stomach, skin, pancreas, kidney, lungs, blood purification, obesity etc) do it atlest 4-5 hrs after you last ate!
