Re: contaminants and breast milk

Hi These are some good points here but even if there are trace contaminants in breast milk the studies still show that breastfed babies are healthier than formula fed babies. The reason for this is because one tiny drop of breast milk contains 1 million live white blood cells as well as antibodies and other good nutrition. I have read a lot on the contamanets and they all say different things. Some articles say that the amount is so small that it could not harm the baby and is excreted through thier urine. We are all exposed to toxins which is why we have cleansing organs such as the liver, kidneys, bowel etc. I'm sure the toxins can vary depending on what the mother has been exposed to and whether she lives in the city or not. I hope this helps.

Sarah :)
