Well, sort of bad news, but not really. We've been invited to an event on Sunday, and while I think I can control what I eat there, it would be a social faux pas not to eat at all. To make sure I can manage while we're there, I'm going to break fast tomorrow morning instead of Saturday morning, so I can ease into food a little more slowly.
On the one hand, I feel a little bad for breaking early, but then on the other hand 9 days seems like a great accomplishment for a first fast, especially a water fast!
I plan to do this again in about 2 months. You all have been a wonderful source of support and information, so I'll be back!
