Well...

Wait before you check off those "agree" votes there, y'all.

Mtnnn Dewww, I think you're on the right track but not all the way there yet. You know why the ladies ditched their homemaking role in favor of a career back in the 60's, don't you?

Here's what I think happened. Women had been doing a fine job of supporting their husbands and raising/equipping/training the next generation for a bazillion years (or 6000, depending on which books you read). But somebody way up there in the power elite figured out that the federal tax base could be doubled (theoretically) if women went into the workforce. So they started a massive media campaign and raised up feminazis like Gloria Steinem to "liberate" women. Unfortunately, that liberation only benefitted the fed govt-types. It robbed families of a nurturing environment/haven, split up marriages, and put families in debt from all the daycare expenses, two cars, two car garages, work wardrobe, convenience foods, etc. Not only that, women were offered lower salaries, which meant that men's salaries got lowered, too, in the name of "double income families."

There is no way a woman could have a full time outside job and raise a houseful of children at the same time. She'd go insane. So now couples are trapped by this consumer society. They wouldn't be able to pay their bills if Mom came home. The government very happily babysits the kids all day and calls it "school." These schools are actually globalist/socialist indoctrination centers, and our 1.7 babies per couple are being trained to turn on us later. I speak from experience as a teacher.

So I can't blame women for the mess. We've been duped, MD, and the men are going along with it. It takes a lot of courage and commitment to buck the system. It's a very special woman who can rise above all that liberation mentality and do what she was created to do.

Donna
