Re: Iodine supplimentation/ TSH can jump around

You must ask your doctor which lab test she is looking at that made her diagnose you as more hypothyroid. If she is looking at your TSH levels, and they have risen, then there is an explanation for that. But she needs to hear it from an experienced Iodine doctor such as Dr. Flechas in North Carolina. She should phone him.

The jumping around of TSH levels was reported on and explained at both Iodine conferences.

The Iodine doctors (and even some enlightened endocrinologists) disregard TSH while a person is adjusting to iodine. They evaluate how the patient feels.

Are you FEELING HYPO? Dry skin, sluggish, constipated, depressed, brain fog?

If you aren't feeling hypo, then you aren't hypo. And increasing thyroid medicine may BLOCK iodine.

Please report back, okay?
