P.S. You ignorant idiot....insulin is NOT a cure for Type 1 diabetes. Far from it. All it does is keep us alive. We need to inject insulin even if we eat NOTHING...we make ZERO insulin, not even enough to keep us out of a coma while fasting. We need insulin fasting. We need insulin to live. Do you think we WANT to struggle with this disease that destroys our body and quality of life?
Type 2 diabetes is a different disease clearly linked to obesity in those with the genes for Type 2 diabetes.
Type 1 diabetes is an enitrely different disease that usually affects thin white people under age 30, and has nothing to do with lifestyle.
