Attention Ford Car Freaks, by MH
I have always liked Ford Muscle Cars, my first car was a 1969 Ford Fairlane 428 Super Cobra Jet, etc...
A local couple my wife knows well operates their dad's tire shop. The dad lives in HI retired, etc... They live back a long drive way with pots of pot holes, etc....anyway, to make a long story short their Dad's name was auto matically put in a Cooper Tire car give away and won first prize.
A 2008 Ford Mustang reworked by Roush Racing out of MI. I guess it has the fender flares, etc. making it to low to take back their bumpy drive way and their Dad has to pay $1,000.00 a MONTH to park his car in HI with a top speed limit of 45 mph. So they had to park it at the tire shop until they can sell it.
I personally would think it being the COOPER TIRE Mustang would add a little extra value as far as collectors go. I have no clue what the Roush stangs go for, I assume they are a step above the Ford Cobras??
I know the local dealers received 2 cobra's each and one dealer put both in his barn and 2 other dealers jacked the price way up to $65,000 each and put them on their lots and they eventually all dissapeared.
I have no clue what a Roush Mustang is good for? The price of gas and insurance makes them not much for taking a ride in and I doubt if they are any good for racing of any sort. Maybe one of those cars to put in a garage and stare at?
Anyone have a clue what such a car goes for price wise? This was just hand delivered from MI free of charge to the tire dealer, but they did have to pay local tax, which I have no clue how much it was.
