Re: Then how come...
Every fast is different. There are fasts that I've been on where I felt hungry all the way through. There have also been fasts where I never felt hungry and didn't even go through the typical first 3 day hell.
I'm no expert on fasting, but from my own experience, I have noticed that the cleaner I am the easier it is to do a day or two water fast. And that's still maintaining a normal lifestyle. But without calories, I start to lose steam FAST. I am a thin person as well and do not fast because of weight issues. To maintain a normal lifestyle while fasting, you need to do so form of juice fasting. I have found that on most days I need more than 6 lemonades to make it through - typically 8 will do for me. But I'm a 5' 2" 110 pound female. You may need more.
Just make sure you are listening to your body. Make sure you are getting enough water (at least 1/2 your weight in ounces) per day. Many times people mistake your body needing water with hunger pangs. (You can read a book called the Water Cure - or find the forum here on Curezone that explains this better). If you've gotten all of the water intake for the day, then look at your lemonade intake. You're allowed to have 12 lemonades per day. Don't starve yourself. If your body says your hungry then give it some lemonade.
Tune in to what you're body is asking for and you'll be fine.
