One thing you want to remember is that several girls in this situation are told OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER by their best of friends, their family, coworkers, anyone who knows about her situation, that she deserves better. But she time and time again does not listen. She reationalizes for the guys.
You can tell her all you want that she deserves better, that she could do better, and even give her easy solutions to leaving, but chances are, it's going to take a lot more than that for her to listen.

Your main advantage here is that she is currently single. Remind her that she doesn't need to get serious with anyone right away, and also not to get too attached before they reach that comfort zone for abuse because she needs to be easily able to leave if it reaches that point. Tweet
