Just an fyi.... I got pregnant with my third while using the sponge...read the insert before using! They are only about 80% effective with perfect use if you've had a child, and 60% if you've had more than one! Those numbers aren't exact, but close. I remember reading the insert AFTER I found out I was pregnant, whoops! It all worked out for me in the end, because my husband said he wanted 3 all along anyways... Good luck.
