200k is just their salary, AFTER 20 YEARS THEY CAN RETIRE AND COLLECT almost as much FOR ANOTHER 50 YEARS.

It is just a result of nepotism, corruption,crony capitalism, or union power politics, which takes money from all the people and gives it to one small group which in this case are the firemen,or firepersons. It is unfair to reward one group while the rest live with a tiny fraction of that wealth.

Firemen simply arent worth that much. MOst of the time they sit around doing everything except put out fires. You can usually find a lot of wannabes who would put out fires for nothing. Tweet
