I think we agree a whole lot more than we disagree. You ask, in total, is 35 cent labor exported to America a problem? I need more time to think about it. I don't know if I add the postives and subtract the negatives what kind of final answer I'd get. My expectations and financial desires are a lot different than the average Chinaman. He doesn't care as much about material possessions as the typical American. He may work for a couple dollars a day and have contentment whereas many Americans work for hundreds a day and live in chaos. Who then has the better life?
We are stuck with commercialism, there's no way out. We will all buy beautiful Samsung HD Television sets with remarkable pictures until the end of time. And we won't pay that much for them either. America and cheap products/reasonable labor are one in the same, my friend...get used to it. I have.
