I imagine more your style...

I wish I had had one of those milk
shirts. I breastfed for a good length
of time. I do think it made a huge
difference and even after I weaned my
daughter, she wanted to come lay with
me and snuggle. Heck, she is grown up
and still does. I think that speaks to
a bond which can be formed breastfeeding.
Definitely, even if your milk is not
sufficient for your baby's needs, even
nursing what you can and supplementing
allows the mother to transfer immune
benefits and those I would consider as
nature's innoculation system, from Mother
to child.

You are also right about the quality of
the Mother's diet. I made many choices
based on my working to become pregnant
and then growing a baby. I cannot say it
was easy but I do not regret anything and
my daughter is amazingly healthy.

best wishes,
Zoe
