This is absolutely false. I healed my inguinal hernia myself and without surgery! I am not the only one and this should be known. Hernia surgery is a billion $ business and so... Apart that surgery is not healing, only the symptoms are treated and often appear again, so a second and third surgery is done... Oh boy!
