Re: Is there a way of healing my rectal prolapse without surgery?
this looks quite painful to me.
ok. you got the basics? distilled water? hydration? raw diet? that kind of thing?
specific to this, i would use an inversion table daily. i would never sit to deficate(thats a large part of how you got here.) i would do a whole lot of lower bowel balance from barefoot to strengthen the muscles. i would also do the bone flesh and cartilage formula of his as well for help in reconstructing.
eating as little as possible will really help while healing. fasting would be even better. the oj fast would be perfect because the vitamin C would help rebuild connective tissue.
can you physically manipulate the prolapse back into place? if so can you then hold it in. i would practice this a lot and have this done especially while on the inversion board.
while on the board, envision the connective tissue growing back and holding everything in place again. this is more important than just about anything you can do. get good pictures of normal rectums and will yours to conform to that. you dont have to strain yourself, just be focused and believe it is happening and enjoy watching it repair in your mind.
also, avoid any food or activity that will push it back out. avoid especially the activities that created this problem. learn the proper way to evacuate your bowels. squatting is all i have been doing for a year now and i never have any kind of problem whatsoever. i never have to strain or push. when i have chosen to do so everything works like a teenager. i am 49.
also study posture during normal sitting. learn it and practice it and make it a habit. you dont have a lot of choice in the matter.
another thing that will help this is potassium iodide. take it orally and rectally. study up for doses. you need iodine. go to the
Iodine forum and read about supplementation and enemas.
KI is a known cure for hemorrhoids. use it. my guts have never worked better from stem to stern.
i believe with you that this can be done. believe it enough to do it. i expect that you should be able to cut back on everything in 9-12 months and then just do the kind of maintenance it takes to keep it that way.
this is all assuming you are otherwise healthy. if not, the fasting and/or cleanses become more critical.
