Distilled water leaching minerals

Hi trapper,

I had a thought recently regarding this issue. I have a carbon filter that I use with my distiller, however Ive been thinking about the long term effects of consuming distilled water.

My thought was/is... placing some sea salt inside the carbon filter...

Or placing a 2nd filter underneath the carbon filter with pure sea salt in the 2nd filter ?

I thought that perhaps the distilled water would pick up some minerals on the way through the carbon filter or 2nd sea salt filter and therefore create an end product that is safer to consume longer term.

Essentially it would be like mimicing nature on a mini scale, as when pure rain water touches the earth it picks up minerals etc.

So doing this we could have the best of both worlds, clearing out the toxic crap via distillation then getting some minerals back into the water as it passes through the carbon filter or the 2nd sea salt filter.

What do you think trapper is this an idea that is worth a try ?
