That is a great site!!! You do have to pay for good training. You do not have to work i n an office first. I make over $20 an hour and I never worked in an office : )
The flexibility comes in that you can work whenever you want to as long as you meet your turn around times. If you took say 30 minutes of dictation per day, you could conceivably earn about $25 a day w/ that and it would take under 2 hours to transcribe it. You can do 10 minutes here and 10 minutes there until it's done. You can't take like a month off.
I feel for you. There are times when I'm just so absolutely fatigued and exhausted. I don't have kids so that makes it easier for me. I wish you the best.
