Re: liver-flushing
I had a friend whose mother gave him an
appointment with an herbalist for a gift.
Since I had been suggesting he do a liver
flush, it was not a surprise when the guy
he went to see told him, among other things,
that he needed a liver flush.
He came here to do it since he also did
not think he could do it on his own. He
drank unfiltered organic apple juice and
used Stone Free by Planetary Formulas for
two weeks also which helps soften stones.
He breezed through the fasting, and really
was great about sucking down the potion.
Getting him to lie on his right side or
back was not easy since he likes to sleep
on his belly, but he also did for me what
he would not do for himself...lol. I had
given him some Lower Bowel Balance the
night before the day of fasting so by the
time he came to the
Epsom Salts he was
not uncomfortable at all. The next morning
he was really really surprised that he had
such a good flush since he just was not
prepared to believe such a thing as flushing
your liver was possible. He did both of
the doses of olive oil and grapefruit. I
added 1/2 teaspoon of tumeric and 1/2 tsp.
of ground ginger so he did not even have
any nausea.
Now, this also was a person who I never
thought would "go there" and ever do a
gallbladder/liver flush. However, we went
out the next day and he bought himself an
electric juicer and with recipe and "cliff"
notes for
Liver Flushing in hand, went home
swearing he would do another round in two
weeks.
The moral being, never say never....ggg.
I began my own flushing adventure after a
particularly rowdy birthday party where my
friends make pitchers of Margaritas until
none of us could drink another drop. Couple
this with a rich dinner and cake and my
gallbladder was utterly disgusted with me
and ached until I thought I was going to
have to ask to go to the emergency room.
I did not know then that a teaspoon of
Epsom Salt in a glass of water would have
helped. The next day I immediately fasted
and that night, did a
Liver Flush which
made me feel so much better I still find
the memory of fixing myself up, sweet.
There is a
Liver Flush debate forum which
is more appropriate for this discussion, but
for the most part, I think that it has been
proven, and certainly, I feel like I saved
myself from potentially being cut on which,
in my mind, would be a lot less tolerable
than drinking
Epsom Salts or an olive oil
potion.
best wishes,
Zoe
