I'm not so sure about that. Consider a problem requiring a decision. If managed without emotion, the consequence of the decision will not be as heated or reactive as when the decision is made under the influence of the emotions. In my observation, the solution will be "bad". Sure, emotions are human nature. Never the less, look back on as many decisions as you can remember that were made under influence of good or bad emotion. You were lucky if the outcome was long lived (a good decision).
I won't dwell on negativity here. Just observe what happens during divorce. Just observe what happens in "road rage".
Yep. Emotions are the problem; even though the source of the start of the problem was caused without care. Maybe the problem would not have even occurred if emotions were in check.
