Re: Anyone care to comment on this perspective?
"..this is the problem inherent in all the LOA teachings of which I am aware. By fostering a preference for this or that, the LOA contributes to the very same 'problem' that it claims to address"
Perhaps it's the purview of the emotion, O. Julien. In other words, I don't see a 'problem' with identifying - via my internal software - what is 'flow' in either a yin or yang direction. It's not a question of the judgements being determined as either yin or yang but rather as life affirming or life denying. Neither yin nor yang is life affirming nor life denying...yin/yang are two sides of the same coin, so to speak.
I'm no Tao Te Ching scholar by any stretch of the imagination. Perhaps that's a Godsend of sorts, for it's been my experience that those who attempt to live within the ungrund of Tao experience more questions than answers with regards to the Allness of the All That Is.
No disrespect intended, O. Julien. In fact, I APPRECIATE having the brain tickled into gear this morning ;-P
We are Spirit having a human experience. Of that I'm certain nearly all of us are in accord with. Our Earth-earthy parameters embrace the concepts of life-affirming & life-denying, which I "know" are representations of the duality that the Tao references.
The Tao observes no boundaries. Physicality creates boundaries. Perhaps the Abraham/LOA modality is simply the "next step" to be taken in order to achieve the ultimate experience of ungrund (formlessness).
Thanks for your post, O. Julien!
