I'm not familiar with Dr. Young or his diet. Stupid me.

The Miracle-Mineral-Supplement solution, which is sodium chlorite, will not become chlorine dioxide until it is activated by the weak acid. This is not what you would want to use to alkalize your water. The chlorine dioxide is high alkaline; but the weak acid will balance that for a while. It is too unstable to keep in a glass of water for very long. The original Miracle-Mineral-Supplement bottle solution is sodium chlorite in concentration of 28% in distilled water. Adding a drop to a liter of water will do what your older product will do.

That Melody water system sounds very nice. 10 pH is excellent. That must be expensive.
