Re: Can oil swishing help the mouth ulcers ive had for months?

Hi Kevin:

I agree with Carol, Oil pulling is a definite possibility. And it's so easy...but it's one tablespoon of oil.

The oil supposedly pulls toxins from your blood stream (via the large vein running under you tongue). That is why you do this for 20 minutes, as all the blood in your body filters through this vein every 20 minutes. Some believe that toxins can be reabsorbed so they do this in 5 minute increments for a total of 20 minutes. The oil acts as a binder of toxins, and then you simply spit it out when you are done. You finish with a warm Sea Salt rinse and gargle.

Here is a website that explains the whole thing: http://www.oilpulling.com

Actually, if you are dealing with something bacterial, then adding a drop of Oil of Oregano to the oil ought to kill the infections.

It's a strange but very effective therapy. We are getting amazing testimonials here every day. Some have actually said that it made their TMJ better! I know you are dealing with a bunch of stuff, maybe this can help some of those things!!

Let us know how you are doing.

Good Luck! Molly
