Here's what's mo myth - your widespread ignorance!!!

"Hispanics" and their family values or lack thereof. So tell me, who can actually tell me what a "hispanic" or "latino" is?

There are 20+ nations that speak one form or another of "Spanish" in Latin America, plus one European nation with several versions of "Spanish". Each one of these nations has its own culture, customs and racial distinctions. Some people are white, some are black, some are indigenous people, in some areas they are a mixture of two of these, in some a mixture of three, and then in some areas at least one of these mentioned racial groups does not even exist, or they include Asians, Arabs or some other race in their mixture.

In some nations childbirth is actually too low, some nations are rigidly Catholic, others are strongly evangelical and yet others are leaving all vestiges of religion behind. What is acceptable in one nation is seen as a scandal in another. Whereas one nation may be infamous for its oppression of women, others are pretty high on the scale of equality.

But here in the US, no one seems to have the faintest notion that these differences exist, and therefore opinions are spewed as fact, that in reality are ridiculous and ignorant. This is one of the reasons why Europeans laugh at Americans, because most Europeans are not as esily confused nor as clearly clueless about people elsewhere from their territory.
The problem with illegal immigration is a serious one, and the people crossing our south western border are leeching our resources, decaying our values, demanding the unthinkable, littering our cities and blowing wind on our national dignity. But it is time that the American people learned a little geography and thus have an easier time identifying their perpetrators. Using the All Purpose handle of Latinos or Hispanics, only serves to incriminate thousands, no, millions of individuals who are not the ones sneaking across the borders, having the gazillion anchor babies from a myriad of different fathers, and creating all the problems we all know, ad nauseum.

So whose family values are we speculating about on here, the Argentines? The Uruguayans? The Spaniards? The Philippines? Mexicans? Nicaraguans?..............

Identify the source first and then seek an agressive solution. But what the heck, the social engineers don't really want any of us to be aware of any differences, why that would be profiling and discrimination! No, let's dissolve all racial, ethnic, cultural and political divides. Let's get rid of these retrograde concepts and help usher in a wonderful One World!!! Yeah, that will work.
